Thanks to a growing level of industry and community partnership, more people have a way to recycle dispensary packaging in Arizona than ever before. In addition to 28 recycling locations with our dispensary partners, we’re expanding our presence at events around the state.
Resinate started its concept with dispensaries near the end of 2019, and then by New Years 2022, Resinate had established 7 recycling locations for people to recycle their cannabis packaging with our industry partners. Now that number is 28. That’s exciting, and it might sound like a large number of locations, but it’s just the beginning of making this service available to the majority of Arizona’s adults who wish to use it. We’ve heard from hundreds of people who are relieved and grateful to have a place to recycle the tubes, jars, and other containers they get from dispensaries or event vendors. We estimate it will take about 70 locations across Arizona to provide recycling for the majority of people in the state who need it, plus a lot of groundwork digital presence to get the word out. Fortunately, we’ve also spent the last few years finding new ways to connect and bring value to the community.
Cannabis events are on the rise in Arizona. We had an incredible time showing people our service and product at Trap Culture’s ManjiaGangia earlier this year. This summer & fall, you’ll have more chances than ever to recycle, earn rewards, and see products from Resinate. Every month, Resinate recycles and educates at the AZ Cannafriends events - both in Phoenix and Tucson. You can get 50%-off the price of your Cannafriends ticket if you have dispensary packaging to recycle at the event, and you’ll also get in on a raffle to win a Twisted Tray of your choice. We’ll also be at Trap Culture’s Cannafest event this year, Errl Camp and Errl Cup 2022, and more.
With large-scale events increasing in size and frequency, we’ve noticed a need for recycling on a larger scale, and the event organizers are up for the challenge to make these events more environmentally friendly. This October at Errl cup, Resinate will have not just 1 Energy Pod (our high-tech recycling bin), but 10 Energy Pods placed throughout the event, including an opportunity at each pod for recyclers to enter raffles and win some incredible prizes. We’re excited to see how people respond and we look forward to making a bigger impact than ever.
One thing that differentiates Resinate from other recycling systems is that we produce our own products from the materials that people recycle in our system. We spent many long months and late nights developing the design for The Twisted Tray and the process to make it the way we do. Come visit us at one of our events to see a live demonstration!
